Streetwear & Furniture Design
Overview
Internship as an industrial designer, conceiving and co-creating a product range with Tibetan artisans for Shardaa, a Tibetan-inspired coffee shop in Shanghai’s Columbia Circle. The scope extended from streetwear clothing and accessories to handcrafted furniture, all designed to be showcased and sold within the café’s retail space.
As part of this project, I was responsible for producing initial sketches every Monday. We would then select the most promising directions to develop further through quick sketches or rapid “quick and dirty” prototypes. Final prototyping and production were carried out either by the parent company, An Ko Rau (a sportswear brand), or by the artisans collaborating with Shardaa.
